34ft eh beers? Very interesting, never would have thought to try that deep for them in winter. Some nice fish in there too.

Specks are the very best!!!

I find that quite often 1 guy will catch more than the other and then the numbers are almost reversed another time out. Shows you the role that luck plays I guess!!

Congrats and no 34 fow is not where I would ever fish them through the ice either . 10-12 fow is my max and usually 6 or less . Good on dad showing you how its done .lol

34 fow was where I drilled my first hole dad said I was to deep and I agreed until I had 1 chase my bait. I would not of believed it hadn’t seen him pull 2 up.
There’s no limits where a fish can swim.

A few years ago we were fishing on another lake in the same area searching the shallows for brookies I drilled a hole and had mud come up tested the depth with my lure 1.5-2 fow thought I caught a branch but ended up catching 4lb laker and 6 others after that. We kept 2 for a feed and both where full of frogs

Hope to get back up in March and put a whooping on him!
