Covered lots of ground last week end in the far north from wed night till Sunday Iíll just say we were in Sparkyís neck of the woods. Was good to get out with friends putting our snowmobiles through places I didnít think were passable. ( follow the little arrow on the gps and go!) Highlight of the trip was fishing Lake x for Specks and Lakers in the same body of water. Never did I think you could have one rod in 5 feet of water for specks and jig another for lakers 20 feet away in 35 feet of water. Pic is of my PB speck up to date. 3lbs right on the nose.

Nice report. I know the lake from that pine tree on the far shore. J/k. I have no clue where you are. Brings back memories of fishing LSPP without the sled.

Right on man congrats on the new PB! Yes that is neat that you can cover both species in such a body of water! Don't be surprised if one of the times you nail your next PB Speck from the depths of that lake. Do not be fooled by the folklore of Specks always being shallow! They follow the food!

Sparky, Your neck of the woods but still about 4 hours west. Gods country out there. I would say they were a little more than hills. Nothing gets the blood pumping than climbing a mountain to see whatís on the other side! 7 hour drive for us Niagara boys!

Of course we changed the blown bearings on the trailer in the Canadian Tire Parking lot in Parry Sound! 4 guys in and hour and a half and we were back on the road.
