Hey , caught a nice walleye this morning. When I went to fillet it I noticed a blue color on the paper that it was on. It was just a light coating , not in the skin . Wtf .

Its just a genetic variation in the mucous pigment.
A somewhat uncommon variation.
Blue perch also exist I believe.
