Hey guys,

I did want to mention how well we were taken care of by Shawn and his crew. All the regular service was great as usual, regular check-ins for minnows etc.

My buddy's alternator packed it in two minutes from the driveway to Bear Creek. We asked Shawn about any local mechanics that could take a look. Without us asking, Shawn took the keys from my buddy and took the truck in for us. At the end of our stay, we just had to pay and pick up the truck. Reasonable price and the truck was good as new.

I though that was worth mentioning. Goes to show you the level of service you can expect with Bear Creek.

We spent the weekend with them and had a good time, saturday was slow fishing, we blame that on the extreme cold and high pressure system. Today was much better, caught a mix of walleye and perch. Accommodation was great, toasty warm, lots of room and clean, very clean.

Minnows that are provided, single #6 hook and splitshot worked well for me.
