I usally fish for bass in the rocks my the old ship yard. Spinners and crank baits. Also the wind plays a big factor. Good luck.

I am interested aswell. Anybody have an idea what km/hr the lake gets dangerous at for 14-18 ft boats.
I am finding simcoe for example depending on the direction of the wind and launch point that about 25 kms an hour it get rocky and the trolling motor has trouble keeping up.

Thx, guys.

My buddy has a small boat(14 ft) so I thought we might try the shallow areas just west of the harbor. A west wind in shallow water would create big waves, though.

What wind is best, Ice?
