OK so that was Saturday.....also put a new 25hp motor on the boat on Saturday.....today took it out and set it up and went fishing for Pickerel......they never showed but I released another small mouth......so I decided to target Pike again with the 45 minutes I had left.....bang, bang bang......4 in 15 minutes and then 2 more.......kept these two out of the 6 and released the rest. Then took the Jumbo home and crispedhim in a pan.....yum yum.

Very nice looking fish. Always like the great fight of a Waubaushene Pike. I use Marsh Marina to put the boat in and troll up and down the channel there all day. Also get some nice Walleye there to.

I have been going there for several years steelheader. So that's why he lets me use the ramp.

Back in the 1960's and until early 2000's, my parents had a cottage on Sturgeon Bay near Waubaushene.

In the 60's & 70's when I went to the cottage frequently, I caught a lot of pike, walleye and bass. Even caught a 19lb Musky one evening trolling in the channel down towards Victoria Harbour.

Good memories. Probably haven't fished there in 30 years.
