The only upside to that location is if you just need to launch and not park. As in launching your boat to mooring/dock at a cottage and taking your vehicle/trailer home. I believe that is free and the fee is just for the parking lot. $35 to park for the day is steeling IMO, but it is what it is.

Gilford lot is $35.00 a day now. I used it recently. Just a damn rip off especially for a crap launch and a parking lot so far away from the launch. It's good to see the town of Innisville wants to keep away fishing and tourism dollars.
If and when I do use any of those lots again I will not be buying lunch in the area or spending any money anywhere else in town because the meter and gas pumps got it all.
I have completely given up on the lower end of Simcoe. That said, my buddy has a pass for the Georgina side so we still go out there, but without the pass I wouldn't touch it. The crap launches on the Georgina side that I used to shove my duck boat in for 20 years want $17-20 for parking now. The ramps are barely worthy of the name and are mostly weed choked and useless for anything more than tinners. The west side is no better. I'd rather burn the $35 in gas and some extra time than give those theives a penny.

Thanks everyone for all your time and info , I didn’t really want to cause a ruckus, but I have to agree that parking / launching is getting out of hand.
