Haven't wet a line since January when I fished off Oro 9 With Mr & Mrs Mydogbites.

My wife and I were in the Maritimes all of May, so obviously I missed the laker and whitie opener.

Since I got back last week, I have been running around here like fly with a blue rear end, catching up on all the Spring chores and as well as getting the boat ready.

Boat is ready, I'm ready and the weather is good for tomorrow, so. I will be on the water!

If you are out there, look for a 16ft Legend, with a big green landing net stuck up on the driver side. Wave and say hello.

Over the Winter I read an article about trolling with lipless crankbaits. I figure to give it a try tomorrow. I've caught lots of lakers jigging lipless cranks, but never tried trolling them.

It has not been all that warm, do you think the lakers may still be shallow, rather than in the deep water?

I'll post results.

SDC

SdCaller theres a big strip of metal submerged about 1 ft apparently bent in by the ice on the end of the east side. I would be careful there unless they fixed it already. I saw it 3 wks ago.

Hi CS

If it is still there, I didn't notice it, but thanks for the tip.

SDC.

Hi the rough Ralph, how is your fishin' today?

I kayak fished off BBP this morning from 6 to 9, and saw a couple of boats on the other (north) side of the bay close to Oro 7 to 9 areas, and I was thinking one of them must be yours.

I had to cut short and come off of water by 9:00AM as all of a sudden a family matter came up..., and so I skunked;-)

Yes the ramp is fixed now. The damaged part is bent back and safe.
