It probably means 5% anglers catch 95% bass now on this lake, lol.

I am a scuba diver and I can tell you I have seen some giant smallmouths following me around underwater. I'm serious they are there.

Spiderrig, you have to drive north - way north - to have the kind of fishing trip you are anticipating. I do it every year and I am never dissapointed. You have to find a lake that is not over-fished. Simcoe does hold some great fish, but you have to search and be patient to find them. Northern lakes are much easier to fish... IMHO

Simcoe breaks alot of people, ALOT of people. Get back out there and try again. Usually all the people on simcoe fish all together amongst 10-20 boats within 10 ft of eachother. lol good luck
