Did Jacobs Bait close? Some years coming to Simcoe have been tough finding decent size minnows.
Coming up by Pefferlaw in a few weeks. Any good minnows this year?

I drove by Jacob's on Tuesday and there was a big sign out front "Going Out of Business".

I don't know if they have already closed.

I am not familiar with them, but it seems like a long way to go for bait if your gonna be in the Pefferlaw area.....How about D.W . and sons bait and tackle in Sutton....if they are open it would be closer....

Hi, I have used D and W. . They had medium size minnows most of the time. I guess I'm just spoiled from past years when we would go over to the minnow ponds in Pefferlaw and get the sizes we wanted for the days outing. I hope in the future that they will open again.

Check @ Casey's in Port Bolster. Taj is a harvester and I've always got good minnows from him. A good size scoop for $5

He is still open for now, I stopped in on Saturday. The sign does say going out of business - just not sure when.

Hopefully theyll be open this weekend.
We also noticed the "going out of business" sign a couple of weeks ago.
