I can't give the specific settings as I have not fished water this deep but there should be an 80ft setting and 100 ft setting for depth range, and then you can play with your sensitivity settings until you can see your bait on the screen at all times. For your second question yes I have used the split screen, I like it, you get the speedy info from the flasher and the history from the graph so you can maintain an effective cadence.

Looks like someone already provided the settings, I missed that the first time. Good luck this season

I have the setting, too, and it works for my Elite-5 on 120 feet water for laker (and Elite-4 has the same settings) (The below settings sequence/order is very important):
Reset all settings: Menu/Menu/System/Restore Defaults
Run Wizard - yes Lakes - yes Ice Fishing - no (EVEN IF YOU ARE USING THE UNIT FOR ICE FISHING. SAY "NO"!!!!!) less than 60 feet - no Advanced - yes
Menu/Settings/Sonar: Mode - Deep water Noise Rejection - off/lowest Surface Clarity - off MANUAL MODE - YES
Menu: AUTO SENSIVITY - off Range/Custom- (Set to the depth range you want) (or AUTO Range) Frequency - 200 (83 if there are people close by) Ping - fastest
Menu/Sonar Options/Color: Iceview
Menu/Adjust: Sensitivity - 100 (then reduce it if too much noise) Colorline - 82/84 - lure is just starting to turn blue
Menu/Menu/System/Advanced Mode - yes
Double check all setting to make sure none of them changed back.

Cant wait for the true test! How do those settings work in the summer, can you still jig and see your lure on a drift? I could see by the pictures you had them dialed in.

I use the same setting on my Elite-5 on kayak in the summer time fishing on 100 to 120 fow for lakers/whitefish on Simcoe, jigging, seeing my bait, and then playing the laker-chasing-my-bait game:-):

Hi Guys, I also looking at Elite4 and was wondering how it works when interference with other flasher happen. Any suggestion is appreciated.
with my elite-5, if there is other fishfinder nearby, yes, I will see interference/noise, in which case I usually just reduce sensitivity a bit until there is less noise, and yet I can still see my lure/bait (and the laker;-)
