Here is our derby winner Hubby (Glenn), winning with a whopper of a perch 8 3/4"...

The Mystery Length was 8 1/2".

Choose wisely nsfisher (Craig).. The medium sized perch you had was very close..

Well done Jerry
Thanks to you and all the others for a great day.
Too bad the lakers and whities didn't know to be there.
Then again some perch fisherman may have told them we were coming and they were scared away.

Great event, pics and video Jerry. By creating this board, you have made it possible for such a great group of people to come together and share common interests and most of all, have fun. It was a fabulous day; I enjoyed it all. We have fantastic members. I would like to add my thanks to all for their participation and support, sorry I didn't get to meet everyone, but I tried; next time.

Great shots Jerry, Myself and my family had a blast. Bob your burgers are so good. NSFisher made some comments to my wife at the speed I ran in, apparently I am like a Labrador completely food motivated. This is such a great event we are already looking forward to next hard water season. Still can't believe I caught the biggest fish.

Love the pictures Jerry. I have a couple to post when I get home.

It was a great time and we are looking forward to doing it again next year. We had a great time fishing with MikeD and PipeSmoker who we found on a trail we decided to follow out. It was good to find out that it was slow fishing almost everywhere and not our fishing abilities were sucking really bad that day. I was the guide since I had a GPS (which was almost necessary in that fog) and felt bad that we were not catching fish in the spots I chose but it probably wouldn't have mattered where we drilled.

It was funny when Glenn caught his winning fish, he said he was done for the day. I guess he was right. Too bad Craig, it sucks when you have to make a choice but fortunately, we didn't have to.

Because of the fog, I never got the chance to fish for trout or whitefish and was so looking forward to doing so. There is always next year I guess.

Where to begin?

Jerry..as mentioned, via the creation of this site, it allowed many wonderfull people to share and best of all get together for an outstanding day of some fishing but definately great eating and meeting

Bob..........super burger king

Sdc...........master of the "smoke'

Nicolle..........pulled pork..........mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Dan..........fantastic sausages and everything else

Dino... BBQ king for sure

if I forgot anyone, please excuse me

Every photo I am in shows that I liked the food..

Didn't even have supper that day nor breakfast next morning.still stuffed

Oh Robert......strudel....yes sir TYVM

As for the rest, I met a lot of new faces and chatted with as many as possible as well as the folks I already knew.

Kudos to the "Ninja" as well.

It was a most worthwhile event and can't thank eveyone enough.

Of special note is "GBN" who I finally met after about 13 years of "on the board chat only" It was great to meet you face to face finally my friend.

Longshank, I just wanted to let you know that I made the pulled pork, he was too busy watching TV. Glenn likes to take credit for things that I do.

Here are my pictures I took on Saturday.

Hubby concentrating really hard on catching that 8.75" perch. He must have channeled the power of Thor with his lightning boots.
