Happy New Year to everyone out there. My wife and I just moved back here from BC, Vancouver Island, and are wondering how the fishing is around the west end of Lake Nipissing. Our anywhere close by for that matter.

Welcome to the board. Was out your way Fraser River fishing for sturgeon this fall, and have fished Queen Charlottes numerous times. I guess you have aa good reason for leaving that paradise. As far as fishing the west end it has slowed down over the past few years but is still fun. Am looking at a house in Markstay myself. Are you around Sturgeon Falls area?
