I haven't been up that way in a bit, so I can't comment on ice conditions. In regards to fish species, you can expect to get into rainbow trout, and perch. I know there are bass in the lake as well, but that isn't applicable right now. The lake is stocked with rainbows periodically.

Biggest rainbow that Ive got out of there was about 2lbs. Don't think it is stocked very heavy, but I know it is easy access and not overly deep. Just around 25fow north of the island. Decent bass in there as well as mentioned byHWH. My buddy told me there were three trucks parked to access the lake today. Cheers, Rip
