LSC musky

I usually fish light house cove in the fall . I was thinking about heading out there for a few days next week. I’m a caster not a troller, I’ve never tried there in the summer how far out do you have to go? I know trolling is better in summer but not set up for it right now just got boat. Wanted opinion on if it’s worth trying casting in summer or wait until fall? Thanks Kevin G

I'm not a musky fisherman, but I know people do cast for them. They seem to be all over the lake any more. I got a small one last week casting for bluegill. Good luck
