Friday morning they were swimming in the "Bay", enjoying a good fish life.

Now they are "Indian Candy"

That looks awesome!
A couple months ago I sent my spring laker stash to the smoker to make Hawaiian strips (sweet Laker jerky). Batch turned out amazing. 30lbs of lake trout filets (roughly 11 lakers at 4-6lbs all 24-28” fish).
It turned into 10lbs of delicious golden fish snacks.

Edit: I will note that there are 6 of us in my household so we still below our possession limit with 11/12 lake trout. In case someone was worried it was just me.

Looks really good Ralph. Mykola I was thinking you shouldn't post numbers like that, so guess I was wondering.

You are lucky to have some anglers in the family. I have a big family, but getting them out on the water is very rare. If I don't bring home fish, we have to eat steak etc. I love steak, but it baffles me why they hardly ever go fishing. The walleye and crappie are right there, and most nights or days an easy meal to catch.
