Well like the title says I fished nipising for the first time ever soft or hard water, we went rented a 4 man ice bungalow in calendar bay for 2 of us it was the perfect size 4 holes for fishing.
The drive and the weather cooperated and so did the fish kind of. I caught about 40 walleye none in the slot all under , 10 perch and a cisco not bad in my eyes my sonar died about halfway through the second day. I marked a ton of fish that didnt bite and relied mostly onthe deadstick once it died. Siingle size# 10 treble hook two split shots on the deadstick and mostly used my favorite spoon ever northland buckshot flutter spoon on my jigging rod switching around to some different spoons and jigging raps. Best fish of the trip was at 12:34 in the morning i woke up for a pee and decided to turn on the sonar low and behold there was a mark i dropped down and jigged up a beauty walley that was close to the slot only to lose him at the hole. wamp wamp wamp so like any true fisherman i tried for another half hour and went back to bed. All in all it was a good trip and like arnie says "I'll be back".

P.s special thanks goes to TOONY for the recommendations on hut operators if anyone would like a recomendation just ask and I will pm you. some pics to come
