Pretty sure there’d be a lot of studies and netting and fish community assessments before they would entertain the idea. If it’s a private pond or lake I’m thinking there’d still be a bunch of red tape and permits to go through. Most stockings are illegal ones.

Call a hatchery. The one down the road from me sells rainbow fingerlings for 1.75$ each.
No additional hoops to jump through, meaning you don’t need a stocking license if;
*The pond is human-made. * It lies entirely on private property. * It has no permanent or seasonal connection to a stream, lake, wetland, ditch or other natural water. * Fish cannot escape during high water, flooding or overflow. * The pond is not within a floodplain where fish could escape.
Otherwise find someone with a stocking licence and seek their opinion. The hatchery will be able to answer this for you 100%.

That's not a bad idea but what I want is to request the mnr to stock walleye in the lake at my cottage all there is, is bass mind you its a great bass fishing lake but it gets boring
