Had to do some grass cutting and trim some trees. Had a surprise when the turkeys came to say hello. By the time I ran and got the camera, they were in the farmers field. Too bad turkey season is over. Sorry for the bad picture.

Went down to the lake just before dark to fish with my friend. He was tired and didn't feel like fishing, so I fished by myself on his dock. No fish worth talking about from 8pm until 2am. Cast after cast, a few rock bass and three walleye released, maybe 16 inches. Crappie showed up after 2am...Small crappie, medium crappie and big crappie. All the fish were caught on the Electric Chiken Joker, and crankbaits. Released everything under eleven inches. This one was only 10.5 inches, so back in the lake it went until next year.

Kept a few of these bigger crappie. I thought some of them were SMB because they put up a good fight. Very cool when a crappie is big enough to drag out some line.

This one is the same as the biggest crappie. Just love how the colours show up in the white bucket. Mosquitoes were bad at first, there was supposed to be a 16kph breeze after dark... Nope. Fished until around 4am, then packed it in for some sleep.

Stay safe. Don't go on the water when you are tired.

That's definitely a crappie night of fishing!

Congrats on waiting them out!
