You members that have been around for a while know that each year Metalbuckle (Jerry) and I have a tradition of getting together for a fishing day.
I'm not sure what number this is, but it must #7 or 8. We treat it like a soccer game with Jerry focused on his Italian Heritage and I'm out to uphold the English heritage as I was born there.
We do live reports from the lake so that members can follow what is happening throughout the day.
Some of these days have been like a "mini" meet and greet, as we encourage other members to come out with their boats that day. One year at Collingwood we had 5 member boats out and the salmon were really co-operating.
It will be at Collingwood again this year and Jerry and I are working on the date. He still works (poor guy), so we have to stick handle around when he can get free and make sure the weather and waves that day are acceptable.
