Figured it would be best to open up a new thread for this. Next Saturday on Lake Scugog is the classic for the 2019 gold bass series. We will be doing the award ceremony at the chucks road house in port perry. There will be quite a few* (hopefully all) teams going there and it will be a good chance to meet everyone and cheer on the winners, Maybe share a fish story or 2. Also to win some good prizes if you were in the tournament or the series.

I want to open this up to all. If you are on the forum and have been following the results and want to watch the award ceremony or just have a pint and share some fishing stories with some fisherman than please by all means come by.
Just post here or PM me if your are coming just so that I can get a feeling of how many people are coming. I know I have spoke to quite a few of you already but unfortunately I dont have everyone's phone numbers.

Even if you dont do well in the tournament or have done bad all year in the series (like me) you still have a chance to win some cool prizes.
Some of which you can use come hard water season which is fast approaching.

MackFisher was able to get The good folks at deeper sonar to sponsor us again with a Deeper+ unit with a retail of $356

He was also able to get Gofish to donate an underwater fish camera with a retail of $350
And some various other prizes such as lures.

Team Dabsnbass was able to connect with bill bait and tackle out of Hamilton and was able to get a bunch of stuff. I still dont have the full list but there are rods and reels and lures from what I've been told and so it's definitely worth it for everyone to pop by even if they dont do well in the tournament that day.

I have cut the tournament an hour short just so that it's not such a long day. I know it can get tiring waking up early fishing all day and not everyone wants to get home too late.
The tournament is from 7am until 3PM. Then It's the weigh in and short drive over and so I've booked the room for 4 o'clock. If you get there earlier though it's ok. The reservation is under Matt.

Hope to see all of you there, there is lots of room and this will be the perfect way to close a great season.

Thanks in advance.

Matt

Sounds good Matt. Looking forward to it! And a big thanks again to deeper Sonar and GoFishcam to donate these awesome prizes this year!

If anyone has any questions regarding either prize or looking into buying one yourself in the future shoot me a PM and I'd be happy to answer any questions for you

Mark

Awesome work Matt and cheers to a very well run season as usual. I hope you get second place on the Bog 😜.

Thanks very much for arranging the prizes Mark!

Too bad Bills bait and tackle is on the wrong side of the city or I’d restock prior to the tourney there. Very nice of them to put in some prizes as well so hopefully if anyone lives that way they will send some business their way.

Cheers all. It’s been a fun season.

AA.

It’s been a really fun year in spite of some of my sub par results I’ve had a blast and as said before I’ve learned a lot thanks to this series and it’s members. Looking forward to next year already hopefully I can commit to a few more events. See you all at Scugag 😜

My sentiments exactly. Thanks Matt for all the hard work putting this series together. I've only managed to get to a couple of the tournaments, but I had a blast....even when we didn't do so well.

And thanks for the other forum members and sponsors for stepping up and adding to the enjoyment of getting together with like-minded guys and gals who just enjoy a day on the water with friends and meeting new people.

I'll definitely be at the Road House!!
