Hi Folks,
With the weather so nice yesterday decided to get the boat out and head to the Kawartha`s for some fall fishing. Main target was muskie, but I also tried for bass and walleye. Day started slow, it was COLD in the morning.. But once the fog lifted and the sun came out, it was perfect out.. With most of the summer boaters gone now, it was nice and quiet and I could concentrate on fishing. It took me awhile to figure out a pattern, but once I did -- it was game on. Caught quite a few pike, some bass (all on the smallish size), walleye and the fish of the day -- a Tiger Muskie.
All in all it was a fun day out..
Man I wish the season wasn`t winding down. It`s been tough for me to get out this summer.. But will try to make up for it.. This fall.

It sounds like a great trip. That tiger muskie is a beauty! We tried going out yesterday to couch and got blown around a lot more than I would have liked to. Time to start planning the last few fishing outings based around weather instead of weekends and coming up with some good excuses for why I have to go fishing on a Wednesday instead of going to work
