For newer engines: DGI (direct gas) requires new tech cleaners for max effect. Always was a Seafoam fan for small engines and have used in plenty of autos...no more. Seafoam is decades old and really for marine applications. Upgrade yourself to this century and get the right fuel system cleaner, else why bother? Just spend the extra money on good Shell or Chevron gas instead. Honestly, I wonder if the old cleaners don't ‘cause’ problems in the new systems...I mean the oldies work in low pressure carb systems AND in 300+ psi DGI systems?!? Nah, I don’t buy that. Read non-Amazon reviews and tech sheets about PEA-based cleaners for deeper dive into what I’m saying. For new cars, this is the stuff to get, and the price is right.

https://www.pure-gas.org/

A link to gas stations that offer ethanol free gas.

Thank you very much for this info.

I buy my regular gas either at Costco or Canadian Tire , because the money I get back at Canadian Tire.

And I never knew their premium got no ethanol.

And for me it is cheaper than Shell V-Power.

Well………I just did a big search through the Ontario’s Cities and Towns I drive most often.
Unfortunately No Costco and No Canadian Tire selling pure gas anymore!
ONLY Shell. Shell sells pure gas everywhere. The Shell V-Power!
Even if it cost more, it’s worth it. I’m using pure gas in all my toys ( 2 stroke or four stroke) using it in the last 18 years and never had a gas related problem.

I am a arborist and landscaper with 36 small engines that run my business....also have two outboards.......I also do small engine repair......chainsaws run at a much higher rpm three times that of a lawnmower......years back we arborists were starting to burn out saws and could not figure out why until one smart guy figured it.....with the high speed of a chainsaw and corn gas being alcohol it burned out pistons and rings faster in our saws then other equipment.......the guy started to use only gas with no ethanol and our issue was resolved.....so I know use shell V power in all my small engines.....no more issues.

One other thing about Ethanol.....in your boat gas tanks the pickup is made of plastic....the Ethanol will expand the tube and the tube will fall into the bottom of the tank......that is not much fun if you are out on the lake and have to fix it on the spot or pour gas from one container to the other without a funnel....I am betting some of you have already been there.

I learned it on the hard way 17 years ago!

Switched to Shell V-Power, and never got any problems ever since!

This is the ONLY gas I use in all of my toys and small engines!
