Its been a great October thus far and I've enjoyed going fishing and picking mushrooms along the way. Nature has so much to offer if you know what you are looking for and I've been lucky enough to find some great eats in the forest and swimming in the waters. That and a friend of mine who loves hunting has been bringing my ducks for the last couple of weeks so life is good!

Thanks guys. This season I've found about 6 puffs that size and many more smaller ones. Most successful puff year to date.

They tasted fantastic as well. Forgot to tell you but that one slab I was talking about was 16.5 inches and 2.56 on the scale so no she didn't get the 3lber! Yet..

I don't eat fungi but they are impressive !! I do eat crappie and they are even more impressive, well done to you and the better half !!
