It was a grind yesterday on the water, it snowed, rained, freezing rained and hailed for a bit...oh and I saw about 30 minutes of sun at one point...that was nice. They fish were in the same mood as most fisherman, cold and tired. I have a feeling thet turnover is just getting over or we are right in the middle of it because they were down there but not very willing to eat.

Thankfully a few of these pigs were willing to play along, or just didn't get out of the way when my swimbait went past them, and let me take a picture of them. This guy isn't the biggest fish, by weight, I've ever caught but was one of the fattest for sure.

If you haven't put your boat away yet, you have to head to Simcoe in search of these water hogs. They are just going to get fatter and fatter as we get into November.

Full report with bait and rig explanation coming to www.randaller.fish soon.

Awesome looking smallie, just wondering, since it looks like you were kayak fishing, how far up the lake did she end up pulling you before you landed it? Would have been an awesome fight in that kayak. Congrats
