We're heading to beaverland June 1st for a week. Hopefully they let the water out by then. Apparently you can't get out to the lake yet due to how high the water is at the bridge. Gonna be a pain in the a## to launch everyday at the boat ramp on little marten if it doesn't.

The docks at Beaverland are under water as of yesterday.

Yah that's a problem. There are fish in the river all the way past the PP park
but they are tuff and pig headed about biting with all the boat traffic IMO.. jigs and minnows..
Our friends said they don't even think the spawn has stated yet and that was on Thursday... That definitely will effect the bite wherever you are...
Hopefully the water will drop by the 1st and you'll get under the bridge..
Cheers and good luck..

Thanks!

Just got a report that the water is indeed 3 feet higher then normal. The bite is non existent and the current is really heavy going out to the lake. Hopefully a little better next weekend.

Good luck!

Let me know if you can get out to the lake under the bridge. We're debating which boats to bring up, thanks!

Last year on our last day fishing a storm came thru and forced us to find shelter. We'll it never stopped but the next day before loading up the boat I had to run down the lake to pick up a marker we left the day before because of the storm..The marker was gone,oh well sh1t happens..
Last night we went to the far end of the lake and to our surprise what do we see, the marker we left last year at the end of September...we both could not believe it...this marker had a tuff winter up here with 9ft of snow and almost 36" of ice...now I hope it will pass its luck onto us..

How was the bridge going out to the lake? Did you have much clearance? We're coming up with a 18' legend with full windshield. You think it'll make it under to get to the lake?

Sorry not fishing on the river system or those lakes. I'm on a Lake in the area that's pretty private and the water is high here too but not causing many issues..I've have heard boats are having issues getting under the bridge where your staying...
Where your staying will be able to give you the best and most accurate info..
Lots of fish in the river, just tough to get..
If you want a couple spots on the river where I would try i could pm you if you like..don't think I'm going to be able to get my boat out of the water due to the high water and only 2wd.The ground is saturated with water and most likely need a 4wd to pull out due to a pretty good incline..
Walleye have just finished their spawn and probably still some finishing off. So far up here bug activity is next to nil..
