My wife and I went to Costco in Burlington today and damn if I didn't see Bob Izumi there. My wife said no way and made me second-guess myself. We must have crossed paths in Costco 15 times and as we were in line I told her once again that it was him but she wasn't convinced.. So we left and as we were loading our groceries the gentleman walked by and went straight to a beautiful truck.. We just happened to drive by him so I told the wife to stop so I could ask.. He goes you got me the one and only... What a real nice guy . We exchanged some stories as well I had a message for him from Darryl cronzy who we met not to long ago and he told me if I ever run into Bob tell him to take it easy on the Buffet's... Well he started laughing and thought that was great.. Now I have a message for Darryl from Bob..lol... We talked for half an hour as well got some pics with him and he gave us some swag and magazines... Truly he loves talking fishing like us and he really was a nice guy today... I have heard stories that he isn't always nice but this is the third time we have ran into him over a 25 year period and everytime he's been a real good guy... Just thought I would share...

That's a little cooler than my Bob Izumi story. He was in front of us in the drive-through of a Tim Horton's. I have had a chance to meet Jim Saric, JP DeRose, Big Jim, and Paul Powis. All really cool guys.

Bob and Wayne good guys, I always thought Wayne was the better fishermen, back in the day of tounaments on Simcoe, showed them some good hotspots, yup liked Cronzy also, guess we both learned the hard way all that greasy food shore lunches etc...
