WOW! That's a nice fish. Very nice to see that your daughter is out with you. Now, if she would have caught that she'd be bragging "forever...LOL"

Cheers

You are one lucky man bud! ....having a daughter (or son) who loves being with you in the outdoors... well, that is perfect
Whether you get fish on the trip is... well absolutely inconsequential.

Nice Specks. Big difference in size compared to the ones we catch in southern Ontario. Good on you getting your daughter out. I'm having a hell of a time prying my kids away from their devices.

I started her young. At 4-5 years old I was bringing her on canoe trips and ice fishing with me...she’s just used to it at this point. I try to make it fun, and bring warm clothes and good snacks!

Wow Drew thats a healthy one I went out aswell got my limit biggest 18 inches nice to see your daughter out with you did you wiegh how much I around 5lbs I guess

I’m guessing 3 1/2 lbs. You can see the shadow of the fish on my paddle - it actually measured around 20.5” although it looks a bit longer in the pic. due to the angle it’s on.

Nothing wrong with an 18” speckled Frank

Yeah, another try where we ice fished would be good someday.
