Yeah I got an air cooled 488, just put scratchers on it so hoping that will help sliders this year, melted a set off last year...I can only assume if paul and taj are putting guts out there must be a good amount of ice. Ill check in with one of them tomorrow.....assumptions can lead to bad results lol

The board will certainly appreciate your update. Should be making ice like crazy, but... never know.

There's access, but it's a bit steep and a helluva pull on your way home if you have a hut. Can be messy as well, there's a creek/culvert that dumps into the lake at the access.

Taj at Casey's offers paid parking, minnows and advice on good ice ... my reco is to toss him $10 to park and keep the local buisnesses afloat.

Does anybody know how thick it is there? I mean I guess if the hut guys went out then they would have been out there with at least 600lbs correct?

lots of huts out right out from where the hut operators go out. Two other lonely huts way out east of the group of huts. pure glare ice almost no snow on ice. got reports of 8 inches as well. the hard water season has started boys, now lets get some on the ice.
