Very nice. Seems like a very familiar day to my last outing. Makes Perch fishing fun pulling out those 10 " plus fish. Did you do any sight fishing?

Nice Haul. Only thing I would say is you do not need to apologize or worry about people being offended, you did 0 wrong and if you have sport licence you only kept half limit.

Some people who travel long distance wont think twice about keeping 100 fish over 2 days.

Cheers man thanks for sharing, always nice to fish with pops!

I agree. No need to justify keeping as many as your license allows you to keep (or in your case, even less!). Thanks for the report and video. Congrats to you and your dad!

Very nice and great video...I've been using tungsten epoxy jigs for about 13 years now (fiskas) I also tip with a shiner... the benefit is that they drop back down fast and yes they will bite without being tipped as well... my personal favorite pattern is the lady bug, with chartreuse being a close secon...WTG

Way to go young fella! And good going taking your Dad. Don't ever take getting out with him for granted.

Great video and outing with your dad. You and he will remember for ever, take it from and old man, who remembers his trips out with his dad and who now has memories of his sons fishing and hunting trips.

Only thing I can see wrong with the video, is your apologizing for catching under your limit. Don't you were more than legal and I agree throwing those big ones back is a good idea.

Just an awesome day you had-congrats.One word of advise if you don't mind.I saw that lure in your car had hooks on it.Maybe take the hooks off if it hangs on your mirror just in case you get in an accident and it decides to latch on someones face.Great post.Regards Alan
