So Iíve hit up the notty quite a few times now and I havenít even had a hit??? Iíve been on the lake O tribes my whole life, by this many outings would have landed 20 rainbows at least. I know a new river is a new learning curve but damn I havenít even had a sniff in like 3-4 outings. Outings were only for a couple hours from 5pm to sundown. Seen lots of salmon coming through earlier in season threw some skeen at them not a sniff eather. As for bows tried all colour bags, eggs beads flies etc....so whatís the deal is the river just really big so harder for fish to see whatís there? Do they just blow through after rain ? Donít stick around?

These aren't your dumb Ontario trout😂. But seriously it's a huge body of water and you got to pick your spots right. Timing is crucial too. After all this rain depending where you are fishing it should really start picking up.

The Notty is nothing like any Lake O trib. Put your time in, you'll eventually figure it out.

Sorry for the kidding , Try throwing a #3 or #4 spinner , silver on bright days gold or brass on dull days , lots of water to work , won't post on forum but PM me and I'll try to point you in the right direction ..

O Iíll keep at it, and I know Iíll get it. Just feel like when I do get to go on the river I should be hitting up somewhere I crush all the time. But work really close to notty so easy to go right now. The best is the 4-5x Iíve gone Iíve seen other guys fishing also and I still havenít seen anyone pull anything out or even seen anyone set the hook!!!!! Thatís why I was asking is there anything in this damn river hahahah.

I used to think when I saw other fishermen they must know what they are doing and I was on to something ending up where they are. Now I assume most of them don't know what they are doing and end up moving when to many people get around me as I take it as a sign a bunch of dummies ( including myself ) are just piling together.
