Filled my bull tag the first evening with a single shot at 150 yards. Then the work begun. Never made it too camp till 10 pm.

Congrats on the calf moose Steph. Iíve never eaten one ,I can only imagine how good that will taste. Also congrats to mjewell.... another fine eating animal. The work truly starts when they are on the ground but itís a satisfying job.Nothing is as awkward to move as a dead moose. Well done both of you.

well no luck on the bull this year, seen lots of cows, less calfs, got few and a bear, so not too bad, first time ever no bull though...fun week at camp, and thats what counts, no phones,TV, puters...traffic, Toronto people lol, all good tederloins on the "barby" were as always awesome ever tried marinated bear tenderloin, lil chewey but good

Now what my buddy saw was a first, a few fellas with orange turbins did good, sorry out of respect I will not post their photo but nice bull though, I bet they got some good recipes I would like

Our group of 4 armed with calf tags managed to fill one.
4:30 pm Wednesday afternoon we got the calf down txt
7:30 he was in the tree cleaned
Left the cow with one calf, was my first year at moose camp and the shooters second. However the first time he ever shot a rifle, CALF DOWN!
