Took my Dad out for his first laker trip ever.

Only took him a short time to become proficient enough on the technique to hook up.

Ended up going 5/6 but one photo was all blurry.

My best result so far in the boat for numbers.

Again Impact Baits swim baits were the bait of choice. Those things are deadly and I highly suggest them to those of you looking for Lakers.

I can say how awesome it is to teach my Dad something and give him a result he has never had. The man who taught me the love of fishing and the out doors gave me such fulfillment. I canít say how incredible I feel to give just a tiny bit back.

Jigging.

Got them figured out for a good 2 hour window. After that it becomes tough. I am hoping to figure out where they go and what they do. I am just new at summer lakers so early success has been a gift for me.
