Could you guys share some public known spots? I went to Bradford bridge at night (yesterday and the day before), got nothing, no bite; Maybe I was in the wrong place.

If you are fishing alone. You are in the wrong spot. Follow the herd at the beginning until you learn how to search them out yourself.

Hey kingphoenix,

I was going to say the exact same thing regarding both points but figured why bother. People believe what they want to believe. If you are catching and eating fishing out of Cooks there is a good chance that at some point that same fish lived or spent time in the river.

The guy scaring everyone saying the water is polluted is just trying to keep people away. The fish are from Cook's bay.

I'm interested as well. I'm putting the boat in on the river Tues morning. Curious as to whether the crappie are in the river yet or still in Cooks.

We went out yesterday around the Bradford bridge and nothing was going on. We were there from about 1pm to 3pm. Saw 1 fish caught and nothing more.

I would worry more about filling your lungs with smoke or store bought meat, fish and veggies before I worry about fish coming out of simcoe .
