I was working on Horseshoe Lake this past week and there wasn't any ice on it, only the very odd bit of ice was seen on little ponds and such on the drive there.

there was ice out here up until a few days ago, may still be some on haliburton lk, big hawk, etc.... i imagine only the biggest lakes at higher elevation would have some ice floating still.

How was the water level on Horseshoe Lake?
Last time water levels were this high quite a few cottages has feet of water inside.

Water looked high next to the shore but didn't appear to be flooding anyone, on the road in where they put the kayaks in looked treacherous to say the least with all the water rushing through. The town of Minden looked to be holding its own with all the water making its way through, certainly high but not over the banks, I would imagine things are settling down a bit now.
