What a nice day on the ice. Sunny. No wind. Though cold at -11C early in the morning.

Ice is good, including ice by shorelines.

Landed 3 whitefish, and lost another 3 (including one at hole).

Very nice fish, they look plump. I also fished and it was a beautiful day, didn’t land any though. Missed a few surely were whitefish. We had 15” ice 10 of which was clear ice, bottom 4” still had no bubbles. Atv and snowmobile were around no problem. Shore was tight as could be…. But I ceremoniously called it today, took my reels off my rods….. Tuesday afternoon is nagging me though….. hahaha

And today on the lake where I was fishing, there were also quite some ATVs and snowmobiles "flying" around....

That whitefish on the bottom is an absolute slab. Nice work!

Well done.

They certainly aren’t from simcoe, season closed there back on the 15th of March for whitefish and Lakers. James knows the spots

I thought so....probably different pH in the water up there due to the rock.

Thanks James.
