Ice fished "my" lake in Muskoka yesterday Friday April 7 and today Saturday April 8
Skunked yesterday (lost two whitefish)
Today literally didn't mark anything from early in the morning until 5:30PM, but then after moved to a new spot all of sudden landed 5 whitefish plus 2 whitefish lost at hole within 25 minutes.

Two more weeks and we will be smashing them from the boat. Appears they are starting their spring schooling and as soon as the ice is gone all you need to do is find them on your graph and park your boat on top of them and then it’s bonanza time. Nice fish!

Nice end to the season. I ice fished the last time 4 weeks ago. Looking at your reports I think it was too early to end the season Anyways I fished for crappie yesterday from the boat on Scugog.

One more pic
How the heck did you get ashore w/o getting wet?
You got it right. I was indeed in water! Broke the ice and fell into 2-to-3-feet-deep water, and then walked in water to get back to shore... There were floating blocks of ice on water so my sled didn't fall into water.... Got cold feet as my buffin boots were full of water...:-)

Sorry I broke tradition and missed the last outing of the season. Would have enjoyed getting in on the fish, but not so much the adventure getting off. Wtg James! Enjoy the week off of fishing before you launch your yak.😁

Haha. Indeed I was wondering in my last 4 times on that lake in the last one week period, how come you didn't show up no more...:-)
