Hi just wondering if any of the northern Ontario fishing camps have been opened due to the covid 19. Or has anybody heard anything when these camps will open. Just curious if there was a website that you could find out. I’m looking for the area around North Bay Timmons in Sudbury and possibly northwest of Sudbury.
With all the restrictions with the United States I was thinking that the fly in or all inclusive fishing camps would be offering some good deals for Ontarians.
This year it might be worth it for me to check off my bucket list to fish a remote lake for some big trophy fish.

Last week I checked around for this weekend and camp's were not taking bookings however the Ontario economy is slated to reopen tomorrow albeit under some strict guidelines. I have a feeling that lodges will be able to open this summer however you will still have border closure and i'm not sure they plan on opening that anytime soon.
Either way i'd recommend emailing the camps to see what they have been told.

My favorite northern fish hunting camp, Big Bear camp, can now allow seasonal sites to be occupied, trailors, but they cannot yet allow temporary guests into cabins. Hopefully soon. Timmins area.
