Drew: Huh, I never thought of it that way. I thought the suckers would gorge on all the brookie and laker eggs, not the other way around. Interesting. Thanks for the info.

Fishnhunt: It was interesting to see the different colours and shapes of the brookies, even on a single lake. The colours ranged from super dark, to the nice orange, and then a couple of them were like gold/copper colour. It was cool. We fished in the Wawa/Lake Superior Park region.

Yep, all the best brookie lakes I fish have a heck of a lot more suckers in them than trout. They coexist very well, certainly nothing to worry about.

That's a very impressive trip. June is my favourite month to chase brookies!
