Hi y'all,
Wanted to try at some perch with my Pops tomorrow and had a few questions on how the perch fishing has been so far. Tomorrow is the last warm day in April so I wanted to get some lines out before the cold front.
1. How is the water? Still icy or blown out?
2. Tomorrow Gilfords weather is supposed to be windy with light rain. Is it even worth going out with that type forecast.
3. How has the fishing been around Simcoe, more specifically Cooks Bay?
Hopefully we get out tomorrow and get some catches.

1) half the bay is pretty brown with all this rain but no ice 2) in my opinion high winds are a no go for me , but if your limited on times you get out I’d launch in a river or canal and you can atleast try for crappie and perch if you get blown off the lake. 3)just gettin started but I found them today on the boat shallower than what I normally would for almost ice out.
