Does anyone know how to install the Helix 7 transducer (S.I. Mega) on a trolling motor shaft so it doesn't twist when the motor shaft turns?
There must be a way to do it correctly.

Thanks in advance,

Cheers,

but then the motor/propeller would interfere with the transducer, right?
and the shaft turns with the motor. I have it mounted to the trolling motor for a while and ended up mounting it to the boat

They have a coil that you put the cable in. Pricy.

Unless your motor is brushless or you mount the transducer far enough from the prop, you will most likely get interference.
