I noticed a number of posts recently from people who live very close the lake Scugog. I am curious to see how many of you are out there. Once Covid restrictions ease up, maybe we can arrange a meet and greet of some sort, Who knows, maybe a new fishing partner or three. I'm in Port Perry, close to the beer store. I don't fish Scugog as much now, as I prefer Balsam (better variety of fish), but I used to go out there fairly often, as its about three minutes to the launch.

I live in port perry and fish Scugog lots in the summer. I also work at the local Canadian tire in port perry in sports (fishing) so if you ever want to talk fishing just drop by!

I'm in Uxbridge. I'm a Simcoe perch guy but like to give Scugog a try this winter. My usual Scugog trip is walk out and try to find a good spot for the sundown bite, set up and catch one perch, hook a muskie and get broken off then walk off the lake with real good lighting so I don't get hit by a sled or truck. I like panfish fishing (and eating) so like to try other Kawartha lakes

Too Funny. Sounds like my usual trip at Chemong. The light is a good point. Even with a headlamp on high I almost got run over by a speeding sled. Stay off the "401" lanes on the lakes.

Live in Port but have not been ice fishing on Scugog. I prefer driving to Lake Simcoe for jumbos. Thinking of getting out on Scugog this year as nothing to do lol
