Morning everybody, myself and a friend travelled to Virginia Beach today with the hopes of catching a few perch. We arrived shortly after 7 and started the long walk out onto the ice to where we had our hut set up. We arrived to find it had been stolen sometime since we had last been able to get up on the 14th of January.
Kindly asking that you all keep an eye out and let me know if you see it, it's a HoldOn retro truck cap, with blue and silver reflective tape, also registration number ON000081 on the front and back. I'll post a picture if I can.
Cheers fellas, it's been reported to York Regional Police and MNR.

Did you locate the spot where it had been anchored and if so had it been chopped free. A gang of us are going up in a few days and we'll keep our eyes peeled. Good luck in the mean time.

Didn't GPS the spot when I set it up, however I've fished here for years and am familiar with the area, also not my first time setting up the hut in Georgina, for all who suggest it wasn't anchored and "blew" away. Unless there was a tornado that went through, it wasn'toving without some assistance. I appreciate anyone who could keep an eye. Really slow here today regardless, packing up soon and heading home.

Is there many of these huts around? besides your picture i have only ever seen one before....and it was this past wednesday Jan 21st on Boshkung lk north of minden. now it wasn't black it was a pink/cream colour and they set up not to far from me on echo bay. If im back up there soon and walk by it real close would there be anyway i could tell if its yours? 2 and a half hrs north would be a good spot to hide a stolen hut. id love to let you know if its yours.

Only way I guess would be to look inside, had camo cushions, I'd be surprised if they painted it and put it back out. I've never seen another one on the ice but seen two others for sale on kijiji months ago

Will keep an eye out in that area as I'm around there a fair bit...but with all the truck traffic on that ice road and the unique shape I'm sure it's gone somewhere far away...but you never know, there are some pretty brazen people around the area..I'd be keen on checking that one spotted north of Minden..
