Braided Line, Kastking Braided Line - 30lb

I thought I would save a few $$ and purchase some KastKing braided 30lb line. It was cheaper than say leading brands like Suffix or Pro braid. When I loaded it on the reel, it looked a fair bit thicker than other brands. I've used it twice now, not a fan of it.
When will I ever learn....

rods, reels and line are the business end of fishing no benefit to go cheap and be unhappy with the end product

Braid lasts so long. Years upon years for the good stuff.
Buy some super slick and use it for 5 years or more. Price doesn’t matter when you look at how long it lasts compared to other braids

Longshank, Disco, you're both right, and I've done as you suggested.

I've repooled my reels with premium braided line. I asked two Bass Pro guys (separately) which braided line was the best for casting. Both guys said Power Pro V2.

I'm sure there are other braided lines that are equally good or better, but I answers to my questions, I bought this brand.

Yes, it was more money BUT, like Disco said, I'll have for years.

Thx Crappeeeman, as that is the braided line brand that was recommended to me at Bass Pro. Can't wait to try it out.
I won't shed any tears as I strip that other line off my reels either.

always use power pro v nice thing after two years use if you have
the space i flip the line good for another two years on seven spools

I use powerslick v2( 8 strand) on everything except my flipping set up. I use regular powerpro (4 strand) which is more abrasion resistant on that in the thick weeds. Hope this helps.
