Small spoons , small minnows or split shot and a lively minnow.

We have been staying at chilly Willy’s and between the 2 huts that we got we brought in 1 perch and 1 wallye. Both small. And every other hut really slow. Our flashers were marking fish and also have a camera that gets right to bottom. We seen lots of wallye and perch down there. Just nothing was biting. We watched them go up to our lures and swim away. There just not active.

Just got home from staying at the Waltonian. We landed 40 eyes only one was a keeper. Small jig heads tipped with a lively minnow hooked through the back. We also marked a ton of fish but they were not aggressive. We just let the minnow do the work. Very light jig every 10 seconds. We also learned that the when our rod tips would start twitching from the minnow walleye were biting. You need a very sensitive UL rod for this. Medium action rods were missing the bite. The bite was so light so the UL rods were key.

LIVELY minnows, sigle hook /split shot 6 inches above

don't shock the minnows either meaning same temp as lake

Was at chilly Willy’s this past weekend. Fishing was super slow with only one perch. We have made this trip 4 times with the outfitter now and this will be our last. Took 3 hours to get on the ice and had to commandeer the outfitters quad to get off. Not only was the fishing slow the outfitter was in no condition to run the business. Take that as you may. Not here to slander anyone but business comes first over other habits.

Sounds like an interesting weekend. I've had a one perch weekend before, I didn't think it was possible but we pulled it off. It was after a big melt and there was runoff everywhere sucked all around.
