Typically there is a thread about " What to bring to a bungalow " I'd usually chime in with baby wipes. Well I'm going to add to it. I guess a little background into my last trip. The first morning was -39 ( without the wind) the next 2 were around -34. For some reason I never thought to put the package of wipes above the heater.
Trust me, it's a game changer and you'll thank me
So I guess this is one of those threads. Anyone wanna share any tips that makes the weekend go smoother ?

A mason jar with a lid to prevent spilt beverages ,it can be an operation making mixed drinks then you book a fish and your drink is all over the shack

Always empty your pockets in anything that you wear above your waist,
shirt, coveralls, etc,,
cell phones are prone to going for a swim.

I bring glade spray or febreeze every year. I leave it for the next people too. My little gift to the next fishing group. We all know how an outhouse smells with 6 guys in a bungalow.

Ya, after chili night our bungalow smells like the outhouse. In fact sometimes I have to go to the outhouse for some fresh air.

Too funny. Candles are always good to keep lit in the bungalow.

Light sticks. The little ones for bobbers and whatnot. The huts can get pretty dim inside and a black 2mm rod tip doesn't exactly stand out or catch they eyes. They are a game changer. Kinda hard to miss when the brightest rhing in the hut starts bobbing up and down.
I will add a pot (a crappy one) solely for simmering ice and snow. Quickest and easiest way to get a frozen hole in the hut pristine again is to dump some scalding hot water into it. We learned this one year when it was 30 below outside and there was hardly any snow on the lake to bank around the huts.
