When we were up a couple of weeks ago the fishing really shut down in the evening just when we thought it should pick up. Flashers were marking nothing. But as I always say don't let up on Nipissing that quality fish is always a possibility at any time.

Good luck, tight lines.

We have been staying at chilly Willy’s and between the 2 huts that we got we brought in 1 perch and 1 wallye. Both small. And every other hut really slow. Our flashers were marking fish and also have a camera that gets right to bottom. We seen lots of wallye and perch down there. Just nothing was biting. We watched them go up to our lures and swim away. There just not active. Home Time tomorrow ☹️

i found the bite slow...what worked best was to have one rod dead sticking and in the hole beside it jig a northland or vibrato constantly...once you see the fish come in on the flasher, drop the jig and wiggle your minnow on the dead stick slowly.

straight dead sticking was a waste of time for the most part
