Hello there everyone.
I am wondering when the ice will be gone on Pigeon Lake (south end) below Gannonís narrows. Thanks

Most ice is gone on Pigeon. All Open Water at Emily Park. Lots of Open Water at Bobcaygeon.

Drove up the west side this morning. South of the narrows is breaking up fast compared to driving by it on Saturday morning. With this week's forecast, I would expect the south end ice to be mostly gone by the weekend.

north and east of the bobcaygeon flow out is frozen from nogies to Grand to little bald. Sturgeon is still frozen from Long beach to almost Caygeon except for river entrances. Balsam 75% frozen. Cameron 60% just the east shore/burntriver open. Most nights since the mid march rain have been below zero. Main ice is still holding till a warm windy rainstorm....Cheers.

So could a boat be launched in Fenelon and get to the burnt?

I concur. Lots of open water around Emily Park, north and south of the bridge there and still some ice on the North end. And this was 3 days ago.
