Well I got back out yesterday for the first time in 3 years. I spent about an hour the night before checking, double checking, and triple checking to make sure that I wasn't forgetting anything. Get the first nice salmon to the side of kayak while being very impressed with myself that I didn't forget anything. "Crap, I forgot my net" lol. I also forgot how much fun it was to be fighting these monsters. The bite was on immediately 7ish and was done by 10. They were so aggressive yesterday that I couldn't even get my hook down to where I wanted it. I was fishing in about 100 feet and before I got my hook to 50 feet they were running with it.

Nice fish. Three years is way too long to be away from that.

Well done!
Were you jigging for them?
I have seen guys set up small riggers on their 'yaks, so just curious.
