my family and I recently ate 2 that Chuck gorfed, can any of the guys that are saying good eats and tasty post a recipe and cooking method? my inlaws tried their best but still tasted like crap

It's the water and feed that makes them muddy. This lake happened to be crystal clear water and could see 20ft to the bottom, gravel and boulder bottom. It's a source lake in a small chain.

We had them for Christmas dinner and they were the cleanest specks I had ever had.
Filets skin on on a lightly greased baking sheet skin down,
Salt both sides, lay on baking sheet
Pepper, rosemary, slice butter on top of you want, can use thin lemon slices if you want (nice for rainbows)
Cook on top rack in BBQ until skin begins to crisp, don't over cook the meat.

They were amazing like this.
